Yellow Cake with Vanilla Bean Swiss Buttercream

My family surprised me with a cake from PROOF PATISSERIE for my birthday. The cake was absolutely beautiful and tasted even better. I'm not usually fond of icing,but the light and creamy flavor added to the cake without overpowering it. The raspberry custard layer added a nice surprise as well. If you want a beautiful and yummy cake, you MUST visit PROOF PATISSERIE!

Strawberry Infused Cake with Vanilla Bean Swiss Buttercream

We celebrated our daughter's second birthday in December by throwing her an "Olaf In Summer" party complete with BBQ, lemonade and picnic tables. Her birthday cake absolutely stole the show! Ryan's (PROOF PATISSERIE) creative style was amazing. The cake fit her theme perfectly! The fondant Olaf cake topper even wore sunglasses, a grass skirt and a flower leigh to match our daughter's outfit. The cake really looked like he was doing the hula on a Hawaiian beach! I have attended parties where the cakes looked great, but almost tasted like a box cake. This was not at all the case at our party. The cake was so moist, and the flavors complimented each other perfectly. It tasted like fresh strawberries, not imitation stawberry flavoring. Our family and friends could not get enough and ate the entire thing. They are still talking about it! We will definitely be getting more cakes from PROOF PATISSERIE!

I wanted to "thank you" for the select menu samples that you brought us last week. Everything was absolutely delicious! Such a variety of flavors and textures that all compliment each other so well!! The flavors seem to come in "waves". Each one distinctly different, yet a compliment to the combination of the other ingredients. We are beyond excited to have a dining establishment of this caliber added to the selection of places to eat in Downtown Kingsport.
